Sake dinner with Haegeen Kim, 21-22 March, 2025

We are excited to welcome you to two special evenings where we pour our sake with a menu created and prepared by the outstanding Korean chef, Haegeen Kim. This is our second collaboration with Haegeen's food in the tasting room. She talks about Anju, which is food enjoyed with Shochu and beer in Korea. In other words, the food you crave when you drink alcohol. Our Anju is adapted into cheeky interplay with selected sake throughout the evening. The menu will be characterized by a spring lightness, veggie based Korean dishes with expression and feeling.

Haegeen has worked at Il buco and La Banchina for the past few years in Copenhagen. Before that, she ran her own Korean restaurant in Brooklyn, NY.

The dinner is based on our friendship and conversations about food and sensuality. Listening to Haegeen talk about her mother's food in Korea, as well as her stream of original ideas for dishes, you are quickly captivated, fascinated and hungry. Pairing sake with expressive Korean food is exciting new ground for us. Expect new synergy and sparks in the tasting room.
